So, we all know what EDM is, but "Foley"?

What the Hell is Foley?!

Foley is a technique of old, old, old school sound design in early animation films.

The music that Barbados Cricket makes is compossed completely from live sound effects.

In her single "Get Back", the barrage of finger snaps is made from a tiny porceline tea pot she found in an old shop.

Then, while on tour in China, she was inspired by hearing the sounds of the modern subway system, and the sounds of nature.

These sounds combined created the eerie moans in "Ghost of the Future".

Foley is a dying art, but through Barbados Cricket's creativety and sharp ear, interest in Foley is on the rise.
